I remember a woman I went to school with, her Grandmother had been carried out as a baby, from the Children of the Mist, on horseback, at the Mist peoples request, to live with the Nuns - and the Nuns rode the horses, to a Convent In Auckland New Zealand.  It is a very long ride, and I have another story about that, but as for this piece, it is really gorgeous.  It has style it has flare, and it is still rather sweet, and for my school friends Grandmother, she was loved by the Nuns in the Auckland NZ Convent.....this piece, is as we found it, however it struck me at the time, that someone would love it, the scratch tells such a story, and as this woman said her grandmother grew up and lived a very happy life...even though native in the nuns world, it means a lot to see these pieces, and even more to bring them back to life....
